I really felt the last version was outdated and unorganized. This time around I created a nice landing page to put emphasis on some of my recent work and an overview of my skills and services.

From a development standpoint I really wanted to make use of a few jQuery plugins and advanced CSS. On the landing page I decided to use easySlider to move between featured work. I also created a CSS sprite to combine most of the images and improve load times (good article on what CSS sprites are).

I’m still using WordPress as as the underlying CMS and blogging platform.

I check out Transworld Skateboarding on a daily basis to stay up to speed in the skateboarding world. Their previous website was seriously outdated and full of little annoyances. The redesign however is very clean and a lot easier to navigate. My favorite new addition is the large flash piece on the main page displaying featured articles, videos etc.

Motionographer is my favorite website/blog for viewing the best and most current motion graphics work in the industry. Motionographer is definitely a great source for inspiration. While I had no complaints about the old design, this new layout is a little less cluttered.
