I listen to a ton of music and a good pair of headphone’s is an absolute must. My old school Sony headphones broke recently and I was on the hunt for a new pair. Keep in mind I had very high expectations since my old Sony’s sounded great and endured five long years of abuse.

The first pair I purchased was the Sennheiser RS120 Wireless Headphones. I was skeptical about how well wireless would work but turns out they sound pretty good, plus I could go wherever the hell I wanted with them on. The only downside however, which eventually led me to return them, was the fact that they had the crappiest fit imaginable. I felt like princess Leia with those things on. The foam sucked and offered no noise reduction. Good thing NewEgg has a good return policy!

After major disappointment I decided I wasn’t going to take any chances on my next purchase. Now most people know Bose makes some killer audio stuff but is it worth the hefty price tag? After weighing my options for about a half hour in Best Buy I finally sucked it up and bought the Bose around-ear headphones and hot damn do they sound good! Not only are they comfortable as hell, but they sound amazing. Oh yeh, and they work with the recessed headphone jack on the iPhone!

Moral of the story… don’t shortchange yourself when it comes to audio gear. Bose has their shit together and high prices are definitely justified.
